Hundreds of Datta devotees have assembled here (London). They worship Tembe Maharaj Vasudevanada Saraswati. Rangavadhoota and Gangaavadhoota were disciples of Sripaada Vallabha. They in turn had disciples, and the lineage continued. These people have been worshipping Lord Datta for many centuries. Due to the Jnana Bhiksha (alms of knowledge) given to them by Sripaada Vallabha they worship Him as an aspect of Brahma (Brahmamsha). Swamiji belongs to the lineage of Sripaada Vallabha, Nrusimha Saraswati.

Vasudevananda Saraswati, Sripaada Vallabha, Nrusimha Saraswati and others absorbed the highest spiritual energy from Lord Datta and remained as prophets on earth teaching about Lord Datta to the masses, giving them Datta deekshas (vow) and thus putting them on to the right path. The sharpness, intelligence, lustre, brilliance (medha, tejas) in all of them were that of Datta. All of them preached the spiritual knowledge in a disciplined manner.

Among them, the lineage of Brahma Datta is the first. Those in this lineage do not receive any gifts. They do not accept pujas or worship etc. They are renowned as great sadhus and saints. The purpose behind this trip of Swamiji to London is to see the people of these lineages who have been in Datta’s family for centuries, and to bless them.

Swamiji’s path is that of Vishnu Datta. In this path, there exists the tradition of welcoming through offering of Poorna Kumbha, conducting worship through rituals such as pujas etc., offering of bhiksha and so on. In this, aspect of Vishnu is predominant. The reason for people assuming that their relationship with Swamiji is permanent is because He belongs to this path of Vishnu Datta.

All of Swamiji’s actions are purely per Datta’s orders and instructions. I travel as per His orders to preach about Him and to pass on His teachings to you.
