At times, in this world, we come across persons who seem to playfully achieve spiritual success without any personal effort.

Absolute success in any deed comes only when the person has achieved total victory over the senses (indriyas).
In the earlier eons demons too feared sins. They feared falling into hell as a result of which they could never reach higher planetary systems.
