Vāsudevaya namah Devatas continued, “O Lord You manifest as the Self within the living being and as Nature (Prakŗti) outside of him.
Even when they are on the death-bed and are falling unconscious, the people are still attached to their body.
As the Devatas shred into bits the weapons hurled by the demons, even while they were in space, the weapons could not harm them in the least.
Vṛtta, who was seething in anger, roared, “O wicked Indra! Murderer of my brother and of your Guru Vishwaroopa!
Indra was embarrassed that his enemy caused the mighty thunderbolt to slip from his hand.
