How did Swamji’s music get that special power?

Music plays a great role in the physical development of animal and plant species. The crores of cells within the body react very well to melodious music. This is commonly called vibrations, but in reality, it is not the correct term.

Music contains some inherent energy. Such energized music has its foundations in our country itself. Indian classical music is oriented towards the inner Self. Our rāgās are age old and have originated directly out of nature. At its root, music is devotional. Such age-old and ancient music transmits a powerful energy (shakti) that is beyond human perception onto the hearts of the listeners.

I have developed some new ideas or theories in this field of devotional music. I keep pondering about the various great exponents in this field of devotional music such as Tyagaraja, Muttaya Bhagavatar, Deekshitar, Purandaradasa, Kanakadasa, Kabir, Meera, Chaitanya Swami and so on. The foundation for their music was devotion (bhakti) and it is known that their music greatly influenced the society. More importantly, it also strengthened their bond with that Almighty. Bhava (feelings) was pre-dominant in their path; from their angle. I have analyzed from every angle. My views are different. It is due to these new views that my experiment in using music as a medicine has become successful.
