Neither my music nor the rendering of the notes (raga prastara) is in any way different from the traditional classical Indian music. I will not call this purely classical music (shastriya sangeeta). Nor will I call it purely light music. I will also not state that this is totally bound by the traditional rules (sampradāya baddha). I do not have those harsh religious beliefs and views towards music. I use music, primarily devotional music as a medium for transmitting spiritual energy. As soon as the intention to use music as a medium for meditation and healing (curing) enters into me, some unseen divine energy guides me.
