At any given point of time, for any particular set up, there will be apparent rules and regulations and the principle behind it will remain latent. As long as this latent principle is not contradicted, the external set up may undergo modifications.
In the relationship of Guru and disciple, modesty and surrender on the part of the disciple and the absolute compassion on the part of the Guru are basic requisites. Preserving these, minor adjustments are possible even in this age. It must be understood that the evil seen everywhere is the result of dirty politics than the fast style of life.
