Even the Vedas declare that karma cannot be destroyed. It can however be transferred for the good of humanity.
When I cure somebody, although they say it is a miracle, it does not mean that I kill the resultant fruit of his/her past action. I merely transfer it to myself. I do so when I am convinced that it will help the man serve humankind.
In this, there is no interference with the law of karma, as the consequences of the past action are being nullified through experience.
