Why are good people subject to more hardships when those who do bad are living happy lives with no punishment for their deeds?

Assume you have a diamond ear-ring. Why do you keep it polishing it? When you buy a new cycle or a new bike, you keep repeatedly washing and polishing it. Can you tell me? It is because you have a lot of love towards that object. Your neighbour won’t clean your bike.

Similarly, God has immense love towards the noble people. Hence He keeps working on cleansing them. To make them shine better, to rid them of their sins, He keeps on testing them.

If you have to make Khova (a sweet preparation from milk), you have keep boiling the milk continuously, repeatedly. If you don’t do that, you cannot make Khova. You have to bring it to boil many times.

We are the ornaments for God. Those who are good at heart, whose character is noble are like precious ornaments for God. Hence, He keeps testing them to only retain all the goodness in them and extricate the fickle mindedness and sins from them. It may seems like He makes us cry, but in reality, He is protecting us, He is purifying us, out of compassion. If you wish to undergo the tests by God, you have to be good. If you don’t want to face difficulties here, but prepare for hell later, then you can keep the company of the bad.

Do you want heaven or hell? If you want heaven, this is inescapable. If you wish to get a certificate, you have to work hard for it. Will you get a certificate if you just hold the flute? You have to keep playing, practising to gain mastery.
