The directions themselves are fixed in the yantra. That direction is decided based on the place where you are located. If you go to a different place, the directions with reference to that place will vary.

Can you say what is the beginning and end of a ball? Does the ball have any direction? What was at the bottom, rolls up to the top. That doesn’t mean the direction changes. Is it facing South, West, East or North?

Where Sun rises in the morning,that place is addressed as East and where he sets, it is the West. You have to understand it correctly. In this prayer hall, I am facing the East (Sri Swamiji points to the East – Prayer hall door). In this Prayer hall, East is always in this direction for both you and me. Just because you are facing me, East will not change. But if you go to a different place, the reference to East will be different. You can use a compass to find out the direction.

For God, all directions are the same. Only temporarily, to perform the Karma, we follow certain directions. This is no confusion on the directions. To receive blessings from God , all directions are the same.
