Hanuman did not touch this land. But when He was flying in search of Seeta a drop of sweat from His forehead fell on into the oceans here. There was no land here during Treta yuga. After that incident these islands were formed. From that sweat River Sararipo (Aripo) emerged. The story goes like that. Hanuman’s sweat fell in many lands but mainly in Trinidad. Hence it is powerful Hanuman land. This happened during period of Ramayana. For this reason Swamiji consecrated Hanuman in this country.

Hanuman devotees and Rama devotees are aplenty in this country. About 200 years back many Indians landed on this soil. Slowly devotion towards Rama and Hanuman developed in this land. River Aripo is very powerful and medicinal. So Swamiji is frequenting this land.

So my message to Rama and Hanuman devotees – You carry forward my mission and Hanuman mission. It is your duty to carry forward His name. Sundara Kanda is full of Hanuman’s glories. During the battle He carried Sanjeevani mountain to Lanka when Lakshmana fell unconscious. When He was flying with the mountain, many rocks from that mountain fell in different places. In all those places where the rocks fell, Hanuman has been consecrated. Even in Maldives, Mauritius the rock fell. They are Hanuman places.
