Do service. To you, seva is your lifeline. Did books protect you when you were depressed and sick? It was seva that restored life into you at that moment. Hence focus on seva. Even in your free time serve others.

Now that you have overcome your sickness, you vacillate whether to read books in free time or not. Tomorrow you may wonder whether you should watch a movie in your free time or meet up with friends. Thus step by step you will get distracted. Therefore, I suggest that you stick to seva which gave you peace when you needed it the most. Till your end you should focus on seva.

Never in our life we should abandon that activity due to which our mind remains focussed at one point. We should never abandon that activity which fills our mind with bliss and that which re-infused us with life when we were on the verge of collapse. We should not deviate from that. This is the duty of humans.

There are some who never go on pilgrimages as they consider Swamiji to be everything. They remain here without vacillations. On the other hand are people who are desperate to visit other pilgrim centres seeking something there. They run to Kashi when people from Kashi arrive here to see Swamiji. it is their destiny that’s all.
