Puruśottamāya namah Hiraṇyakaśipu continued, “When the manas (the processing mind) wavers due to the influence of these material objects which are the outcomes of trigunas, then the Self which in reality is unmoving and beyond transformations, attains oneness with the manas and believes it has transformed along with it.
Hiraṇyakaśipu continued, “When the manas (processing mind) wavers as a result of these objects (viṣaya) which are the outcomes of trigunas, the Self (atma), although being devoid of transformations, reflects as if it has transformed along with the manas”.
Mādhavāya namah Hiraṇyakaśipu continued, “The wives of King Suyajna did not allow their husband’s body to be taken for cremation.
Hiranyakaśipu continued, “The Self (atma) has karmic bondages only as long as it is connected with the subtle body (linga śarīra), mind etc.
Govindāya namah Hiranyakaśipu continued, “Yama, who had disguised as a small boy, now said to the wives of King Suyajna, ‘O foolish women!
Govindāya namah Hearing the valuable advice given by Hiraṇyakaśipu, his mother Diti and his sister-in-law Ruṣabhānu instantly stopped grieving.
Devatas, who were tortured by the heat generated from Hiranyakaśīpu’s austerities, left heaven and rushed to Brahma-loka, the residence of Brahma.
Nārāyanāya namah Lord Brahma continued, “Pleased with your austerities O son of Kasyapa, I have come here to shower boons.
Hiraṇyakaśipu continued, “O infinite Lord (Ananta)! Your form which is beyond the perception of the senses pervades this entire world.
