Narayana “Balarama and Krishna, with their broken speech and childish pastimes, brought great joy to all the residents of Brindavana.
Narayana “Along with the other cowherd boys, little Krishna and Balarama would take the calves for grazing into the forests adjacent to Brindavana.
Narayana “One morning, Krishna and Balarama, along with the thousands of cowherd children, took the cattle for grazing near the banks of Yamuna.
“Krishna pointed this calf to brother Balarama and said, ‘Just observe the way that calf walks.
“One morning, as the calves were thirsty, all the cowherd boys walked towards the lake with each boy managing his herd of calves.

Narayana Maharishi Śuka continued, “Hearing that Krishna had killed demon Bakāsura, the residents of Brindavana were deeply astonished.
